Youth Development Fund

Helping the next generation of performing arts stars shine from Aotearoa to the global stage.
Here at the Amici Trust, we’re passionate about keeping the performing arts alive and accessible in Aotearoa
—and we need your help to help make this happen
For the past 15 years, we’ve created a wide range of opportunities for local performers. This includes everything from producing major musical productions that provide world-class platforms for local talent and hosting enriching workshops to help performers of all ages grow their skills, to providing scholarships that help emerging talent gain valuable experience and connecting an ever-growing network of creatives across the greater Auckland area.
The best part? We’re just getting started.

Our role in supporting future talent
We firmly believe that financial costs should not be a barrier for emerging talent, and use every cent of donations we receive to sponsor children and young people to take centre stage. This includes a range of scholarship opportunities:
- Covering fees and course costs for those experiencing financial hardship
- Providing tertiary scholarships for emerging performers to take up opportunities at internationally renowned arts schools
- Helping with costs associated with international tertiary opportunities, such as flights and accommodation.
Did you know? The Amici Trust’s running costs are covered by production income, so 100% of all donations go where it matters most — supporting the children and young people we sponsor.
